Together with our Russian partners and our Moscow-based daughter company, we are working on a design solution for the recovery of landfills for decommissioned pulp and paper mill in the city of Baikalsk on the shore of Lake Baikal.
The landfills containing more than 6 million tons of hazardous waste threaten the unique natural wealth of world importance included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, as well as the lives of rare and endemic animal species found in the Lake Baikal and its shores.
